Two individuals are now facing charges following a suitcase robbery where a believed to be capsaicin spray resulted in harm at the major London air hub.

Tyrone Richards, 31, and Anton Clarke-Butcher, 24, are accused of two counts of robbery and charges for deploying a toxic agent, according to official statements.

These accusations come after an probe of an attack at the parking structure at Terminal 3 on the weekend. Before the assault occurred, two female travelers had their luggage stolen after getting out of a parking garage elevator, police said.

A young child was one of the people hurt in the event. Several persons were taken to a medical facility and were eventually allowed to go home.

This event – which authorities stated was isolated and not considered a terror-related act – resulted in disruptions to rail services and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park for a short time.
