A plane transporting the US defense secretary was required to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was identified in the plane's windshield, as stated by an announcement which verified that all passengers were secure.

"The aircraft touched down based on standard protocol and everyone onboard, among them Pete Hegseth, is secure," a spokesperson commented in a online announcement.

Hegseth was returning from a quick journey to the city of Brussels during the flight.
